Puzzle Master for the PC offers players more than 50 puzzles to put together from over
40 unique categories such as bridges, cats, fountains, leaves, ... trains, quilts, teddy
bears, trees, architecture, flowers, and more. Options include adjustable piece sizes,
arrangement on the "table," time limits, sorting (shapes and color), rotation, multiple
trays, and cheating (hints, all pieces right side up, and auto-solve). Default puzzle sizes
are easy (35 pieces, 7x5), medium (92 pieces, 11x9), and hard (252 pieces, 18x14), but
any picture or puzzle can be custom "cut" from 4 to 4000 pieces
Other features include a beginner or expert option, which determines the amount of
"clutter" on the screen in terms of trays, display of final picture, and toolbars, and an
import utility for creating user puzzles using any of five image formats (.JPG, .BMP,
.MAC, .PCX, or .TGA). Puzzle Master comes with more than a dozen MIDI files as
background music, and players can add an unlimited number of MIDI tunes to
personalize the game.
